இன்றிளைப் பாறுவம் என்றிருந்தால் – வழி

என்னென்ன வாகுமோ ஓரிரவில்

சென்றிளைப் பாறுக முற்றிடத்தே – தம்பி

தேன்வந்து பாயும் உன் நெஞ்சிடத்தே!

சாதனைப் பூக்களை ஏந்துமுன்னே – இங்கு

நல்லசெடி இளைப் பாறிடுமோ?

வேதனை யாவும் மறந்ததுபார் – செடி

வெற்றி கொண்டேந்திய பூவினிலே


    – சாலை இளந்திரையன்

This is a favorite poem of mine. It talks about the importance of persistence and untiring efforts.

This poem has been a huge inspiration in my life to not give up when things gets rough and I’m down. There’s a sense of joy in the feeling that there’s no rest until the outcome is fruitful
